Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Ingredients
1. 1 & 1/2 tsp oil
2. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
3. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
4. 1/2 tsp asafoetida
5. ginger-garlic paste
6. 1 medium size potato ( thinly sliced )
7. spices
1. turmeric 1/4 tsp
2. chilli powder 1/2 tsp -1 tsp (depending on spice level)
3. garam masala 1/2 tsp
4. coriander powder 1 tsp
8. 1& 1/2 cup beans
10. salt to taste
11. 1 TBSP Peanut powder
12. coriander for garnishing
steps for cooking
begin Instant pot on saute mode and high pressure
step 1. Let the pot to go on hot then add oil.
step 2. As oil is hot add mustard and cumin seeds and asafoetida.
step 3. Add ginger-garlic paste, saute and add potato and mix it.
step 4. add all spices , salt , beans and peanut powder.
stop saute mode
begin Instant pot on manual mode for “ 1 “ min
step 5. Natural Pressure Release (NPR) i.e. you have to put whistle on venting when timer stops and 6-7 minutes done
open the lid , mix , garnish with coriander leaves and serve .
note: 1. If you love crunchy curry ,then follow above steps .
2. If you want little watery curry then add 1-2 Tbsp of water and close the lid.
