But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!


How about some freezer meals just for breakfast? When school is in session, mornings can acquire busy. That’s where freezer meals made just for breakfast and back to school are such a lifesaver! Freezer meals are a gift to your future self! A little effort now means you save your sanity on those busy mornings trying to acquire everyone out the door, on the computer for virtual learning, or to begin homeschooling in a timely manner!

I hope you love these breakfast recipes! You can make up a ton and store them in the freezer for up to 2 months. OR use these as make ahead recipes for breakfast! Whip them up on the weekend and enjoy them all week long!

**Freezer/make Ahead Breakfast Recipes**

Oatmeal Instant Pot Cups:
– Cook 1 part oats, 2 part water for 1 min on high pressure, natural release
– use a cupcake tin (or silicone) and add 1/4 cup of oatmeal
– add toppings on top while hot (love brown sugar, cinnamon, craisins…)
– flash freeze then put in gallon sized freezer bag once frozen solid
– put 2 or 3 in a bowl with a little bit of milk and microwave in 1 min increments until heated through (usually about 2 minutes)

Hashbrown Ham & Cheese Cups:
YIELD: 12-18 cups
20 oz. refrigerated hash browns
1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup cubed ham
8 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. milk

– Pre-heat oven 350F/177C.
– In a medium-size bowl, stir all ingredients together until well blended.
– In a greased silicone muffin tin, add a scoop of mixture into each cup.
– Bake for about 30 min, or until golden brown.

SMOOTHIE FREEZER PACKS
YIELD: 4 smoothies
4 quart sized freezer bags
2 heaping cups of spinach
2 cups of berries
1/2 banana
1 cup Fage Greek yogurt
2 Tablespoons milled flaxseed

TO make SMOOTHIE AFTER FREEZING
Slightly soften contents by running under hot water for a min or so. In a blender combine your smoothie pack and as much liquid of your choice (water, milk, soy milk, almond milk, coconut water, milk, or fruit juice}. Blend until completely smooth.

Instant Pot or Air Fryer Egg Breakfast Bites:
8 eggs
1/4 cup greek yogurt
handful of shredded cheese
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 sets of Instant Pot Egg Bite molds (scroll down for link)
toppings of your choice

Spray silicone molds, add desired toppings, pour egg mixture into cups
In the IP, add 1 cup of water to the inner pot, then put molds on a sling and add to inner pot.
Cook on high pressure for 11 minutes, natural release or fast release
OR in the AIR FRYER: cook at 300F/149C for 10-12 minutes

BREAKFAST BOMBS:
Homemade Biscuits Recipe:

scramble 5 eggs
mix with 1 cup of cooked sausage
spread biscuit dough (you can use canned if you don’t want homemade) out so you can put a scoop of cheese and the egg/sausage mixture on top of biscuit.
Wrap biscuit around filling and pinch to close
put on baking sheet with parchment paper
Bake at 350F/177C for 18-22 minutes
Freeze once cooled, reheat in microwave in wrapped damp paper towel in 45 second increments until heated thru.
