But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
Alright! It is September so that means it is officially soup season! These 5 Instant Pot Soups are super simple and perfect if you are just starting off using your Instant Pot.
The more I use my Instant Pot, the more I truly do love it! I couldn’t live without my Instant Pot at this point – it saves me so much effort with preparing fast meals and side dishes!
You can use your Instant Pot as a pressure cooker, steamer, hot plate, skillet or rice cooker. I love to sauté veggies, brown meat AND make yogurt in an Instant Pot. I use the sauté and pressure cook functions the most.

Just remember when using the Instant Pot, it takes 10-20 minutes to pressurize!
