I gave the recipe of The British fish and chips,i’ve eaten in Scotland and loved it very much.This recipe has a royal history behind it.This recipe is made specially for “THE QUEEN OF BRITAIN”
where the chef prepared the marination with chilled beer to raise the batter.But in the restaurants, they generally don’t use beer.They use baking soda , baking powder, etc.
I am using both in this recipe,baking soda, and baking powder.
Ingredients:-
For Chips:-
potatoes
Oil to fry
For Fish :-
Fish (Tuna or salmon) or available at your put
Black pepper powder
salt
Marination:-
Rice flour – 1/2 cup / 80 g
All-purpose flour – 1 cup / 150 g
Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
Baking soda – 1/3 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder / paprika – 1/4 tsp
Egg – 1
For tartar sauce:-
mayonnaise 4 tbsp ( you can adjust the quality of mayonnaise)
chopped onion – 1 small
Garlic cloves – 2
salt – 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
