BEST HACK EVER: Cooking Frozen Meat in the Instant Pot

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

If you have ever forgotten to thaw out frozen ground meat, this hack will save dinner for you!

You can easily cook frozen meat right in the the Instant Pot.

This works best with a flat package of ground meat (1-2 inches thick)

Cover bottom of pot with 1 1/2 cup cold water. Add in trivet and put frozen or fresh ground meat directly on trivet.
put the lid on the Pressure Cooker and turn valve to seal.
Set to High Pressure for 20 minutes.
Once finished cooking, do a fast release and then with pot holders, carefully remove trivet from Instant Pot.
Discard cooking liquid and grease and break up ground beef using a spatula into desired size. Use as desired.
