Best Tomato rice in 10 minutes with Leftover rice || Instant rice recipe



You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Ingredients:
Oil- 1-2 tbspn
Onions- one medium size (chopped)
Cumin seeds- 1 Tsp
Cardomom- 2
Cloves- 3
bay leaf-1
Cinnamon stick- one small
Tomato- 2 medium size (roughly chopped)
Salt- to taste
Red chilli powder- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 2 Tsp
garam masala powder- 1 Tsp
Coriander leaves- Handful(chopped)

Preparation:
– In a vessel heat 1-2 tbspn oil. when oil is hot add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick, Cardomom,bay leaf and saute for 5-10 seconds.
– Add one medium size onion chopped and saute until it changes colour. When onion changes it’s colour add 2 medium size chopped tomato and cook until tomato becomes soft.
-Now add leftover white rice and give a nice mix. If leftover rice is not available then you can add freshly cooked white rice.
– Finally add handful of chopped coriander leaves and give a mix.

Alhumdulillah, Our tomato rice is ready in 10 minutes with Leftover rice.
