CABBAGE SOUP | super simple, vegetarian soup for a healthy diet
You’ve probably heard of theInstant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
Cabbage soup is about as healthy as they come! All you need to do is simmer a bunch of sliced cabbage with mirepoix vegetables, chopped tomatoes, vegetable broth, and herbs for an simple and delicious, low calorie meal.
Because cabbage is low in calories, the “cabbage soup diet” has been known to assist shed a few pounds. But you know I’m not a fan of detox diets and fast fixes. Your body still needs more nutrients from other foods. So just enjoy this soup for the vegetarian goodness that it offers.
