CARAMEL FLAN aka CREME CARAMEL | simple gluten-free dessert

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Ever wondered to impress your guests with some simple yet fancy and delicious dessert?
Well you guys I have got your back.
All you need is to watch this video and follow some simple steps.

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup + 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup evaporated milk
2 eggs

1. Melt sugar in a sauce pan until light golden. Don’t burn it.
2. Add lemon juice and turn off the flame.
3. Quickly pour it in the ramekins. Be careful to not burn yourself.
4. Set them aside.
5. put the oven to preheat at 350F.
6. In a bowl beat eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk and vanilla until smooth.
7. Pour the mixture in the ramekins.
8. Add warm water in a baking dish and put the ramekins.
9. Cover the ramekins with aluminum foil and bake for 60 mins at 350F.
10. cool completely at room temperature at least for an hour before serving.
11. Run a knife against the wall of ramekin to loosen the flan. put a plate on top. Invert it. Tap on all sides of ramekin until the flan comes out.
