Caramel flan Instant Pot | Homemade caramel



You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

This caramel flan is an extremely simple dessert. It doesn’t require such a long list of ingredients and moreover, everybody loves it!

INGREDIENTS:

– CARAMEL (homemade)
Cane sugar 1/2 cup (100gr)
Water 1/2 Tbsp (room temperature)

– FLAN
Condensed milk sweetened* 14oz (397gr/1 can)
Milk* 14oz [41cl] (room temperature)
4 eggs (room temperature)
Shredded coconut 1/4 cup (optional)

*I used WF Organic condensed milk sweetened
*I used TJ’s Organic milk (red one)
