But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Hey folks, lovely to see you! For tea last night, I thought I’d try cauliflower cheese in the slow cooker…it was so tasty! I cooked mine for 3 hours, but if you prefer yours with a little more bite, I’d suggest 2 and a half hours 🙂 The bacon is completely optional…but it adds a nice smokey flavour.

What did I use?
A 13.5 litre Crockpot

4 servings as a side or 3 as a main meal

How long?
15 minutes prep and 3 hours cooking time

Ingredients used –

* 1 Head of cauliflower (around 1lb) cut into florets
* 130g (4.5 oz) Philadelphia cream cheese
* 60g (2 oz) Double or heavy cream
* 2 Tablespoons butter
* 115g (4 oz) Grated cheese – I used a mix of mozzarella & mature cheddar
* Optional extra handful of grated cheese
* 4-6 Slices of smoked bacon – I used streaky bacon
* Salt & papper to taste
