You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!


This Creamy potato soup with bacon is done in the Instant Pot and hands down is one of the easiest recipes I’ve ever made.

Ingredients
4 ounces full-fat cream cheese
1 medium yellow onion
2 medium stalks celery
3 cloves garlic
2 to 2 1/2 pounds russet potatoes (about 4 medium)
4 slices bacon (about 4 ounces)
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 (32-ounce) box low-sodium chicken broth (4 cups)
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (about 1 cup)
2 medium scallions
