Daniel fast Recipe CHILI! | Instant Pot Recipe | Daniel fast Lunch and Dinner thought

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Hello Friends!

Recipe:
1 can red kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
1 can northern beans (drained & rinsed)
1 can black beans (drained & rinsed)
1 can sweet corn kernels (drained & rinsed)
1 can tomato sauce
2 cans chopped tomatoes with green chilis (not drained)
1 tsp tabasco
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic salt
1 cup frozen chopped green & red peppers and onion
3 cups vegetable broth (I use my homemade version – https://youtu.be/oETbteqfpDc)

Add all to inner pot & stir. 10 minutes on high pressure. Natural or manual pressure release…. I just wait until I am ready to eat. Once steam is released, stir and ENJOY!!

I was hesitant to share on my fast. However, I know I did tons of research on recipes etc the first time I did the Daniel fast, so I want to be a source of encouragement and recipes for another faster.

I am currently on the Daniel fast through church. If you’re interested in the fast I suggest reading up on:

Some people choose to not use canned items, however, I don’t feel love there is benefit to being super legalistic about it. In fact, that steals from the intent of the fast IMO. I ensure I stay away from sugar (even added), fried foods, dairy, meat, etc.

I eat mainly soups while on this fast and this chili is delicious and filling! Hope you enjoy and God Bless your fast!
