Dr. Pepper BBQ Ribs in the Instant Pot

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

These ribs are so excellent, and so simple to make in your electric pressure. Fork tender, and ready in less than an hour #mealsunderpressure #drpepper #sweetbabyrays #instant pot

Boneless country style ribs
3/4 cups of BBQ sauce
1 – 1 1/2 cups of Dr. Pepper
Dry BBQ rub

Dust the ribs generously with a dry rub of your choice. Add the metal trivit to the IP, and add 1 cup of Dr. Pepper. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes, with a 15 minute natural release

Combine the BBQ sauce with 1/2 cup of Dr. Pepper. Remove the ribs and baste the ribs generously with the BBQ sauce/Dr. Pepper combination

Broil the ribs for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce carmelizes on the ribs. Enjoy!
