Homemade Instant Pot Pork Carnitas Recipe

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Instant pot pork carnitas is an simple recipe to make. The wonderful thing about making carnitas is you can use the pork in a number of different meals after cooking it. Using your instant pot you can cook carnitas way fast then normal. Give this recipe a try and tag me in a picture.

Ingredients:
1 Package of pork Carnitas (pork shoulder/butt)
1 lime, juice of
1 lemon, juice of
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 Cup orange juice
1/2 Cup fresh cilantro
4 garlic cloves
1/3 Cup soy sauce
1 jalapeno, sliced
1/2 big onion, sliced
