How To make Beef and Vegetable Soup in the Instant Pot

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!


Hey everybody, and welcome to another episode of Sunday Cooking with Mom and Me. Today mom is going to show us how to make vegetable and beef stew in the instant pot. Instant Pot Beef Vegetable Soup

1.5 pounds beef stew
½ cup chopped celery
¼ cup chopped onion
2 to 3 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
1 14.5 oz. can chopped tomatoes
4 cups frozen mixed vegetables/butter beans
1 package of Goya Ham flavored concentrate (optional)
1 teaspoon Ms. Dash, original blend
1/4 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 to 2 teaspoons salt, depending on your preference
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Olive Oil

Set Instant Pot on Sauté mode. Allow pot 5 minutes to acquire warm. put meat in a bowl. Drizzle olive oil over meat. Lightly, salt and pepper meat (more salt and pepper will be added later). Drizzle olive oil in pot. Add seasoned beef to Instant Pot. Allow meat to cook for at least 15 minutes until brown on all sides, stirring frequently. Add chopped celery and onions to the pot, stirring constantly for 3 minutes.

stop the Instant Pot. Add vegetables and all seasonings: salt, sugar, slap ya mama seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Ms. Dash original blend, and Goya Ham seasoning. Give the pot a excellent stir. Add liquids: tomatoes, chicken broth, and water. Stir ingredients. Lock the lid in put and set the Instant Pot on manual for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, allow 17 to 20 minutes of pressure release.
