But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Cook time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:

1 big egg
3 big russet potatoes (about 1 ½ lb. or 680 g)
2 ½ inch (7cm) carrot
2 Japanese or Persian cucumbers*
½ tsp. kosher salt for dehydrating carrots & cucumber
2 slices ham (I prefer black forest ham)
¼ cup (4 Tbsp.) corn kernels
½ tsp. kosher salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tsp. rice vinegar
4-6 Tbsp. Japanese mayonnaise (I use Kewpie)*

NOTE:

Cucumber: If you can’t find Japanese or Persian cucumbers, cut an English cucumber in half lengthwise and remove seeds with a spoon (because it’s too watery for salad).
