Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

☀︎ COOKING NOTES FOR THE INSTANT POT: Cook them for 4 minutes on high pressure. Then allow it to fast steam release. Open the Instant Pot and stir well. Let it sit and continue to soften for about 10 minutes, then serve 🙂
