Instant Pot Apple Dump Cake – Three Ingredient Dessert – Pot in Pot Recipe
You’ve probably heard of the
Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
I am FINALLY making a dessert! Don’t worry, the cheesecake will be coming soon – but for now, this apple dump cake will have to do! This recipe is one of those that doesn’t take a lot of effort (It is only 3 ingredients), and doesn’t take long to cook! It is the perfect recipe if you are a beginner at the Instant Pot, or if you are looking for an simple fast dessert!
This Instant Pot Dump Cake is apple flavored, but you could add any flavor you want! Cherry, peach, blueberry, you name it! They will all work and taste delicious!

Just remember when using the Instant Pot, it takes 10-20 minutes to pressurize!

If you are cooking for 1-2 people I would suggest the 3 Quart. If you are cooking for more, I would suggest the 6 quart!
