Instant Pot Beef Stew/Soup Recipe~simple Cooking
You’ve probably heard of the
Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
In this simple cooking video, I make some beef stew, or soup, in my Instant Pot Ultra 60 pressure cooker. The ingredients I used are a 1 lb of beef stew meat, 4 potatoes, 4 carrots, 3 stalks of celery, 2 tablespoons of onion powder, 4 cups of water, 4 teaspoons of Better Than Bouillon, a sprinkle of Worcestershire sauce, 1 can of corn, and salt and seasoned pepper to taste. I browned the meat on high, and then added the rest of the ingredients, and cooked them for 20 minutes on the pressure cook setting. Then let the pressure release on it’s own.
