Instant Pot Candied Yams for Thanksgiving – I Heart Recipes w/ Rosie Mayes

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Looking for the perfect Thanksgiving side dish? Instant Pot Candied Yams to the rescue! So simple, doesn’t require the stove or oven, and the perfect holiday side. Catch the recipe here:

Hey, y’all! Today, I’m showing you how to make my popular candied yams recipe in the InstaPot! On those busy holidays, the stove and oven are always occupied with other dishes – roast turkey, stuffing, pies! Bust out the InstaPot and save yourself some time AND hassle.

My favorite part about this candied yams recipe is how I can acquire almost ALL the ingredients – mostly the spices – at the dollar store! It makes this classic Thanksgiving side dish so much more affordable and simple to toss together.
