Instant Pot Carnitas Recipe | MexiKeto | Keto Meal Prep

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

I love carnitas, but sometimes when I buy them they are too greasy for me. I wanted a way to make them at home in a way I could set it and forget it. The best part of this is that you can use it as a BASE for so many other items. It’s great for keto meal prep. You can make Tacos, Pulled Pork, tostadas, Salad, whatever you want to use this meat for it will work for you.

I have found that for meal prep, this is one of my favorites. The best part is with the Instant Pot you literally set it and forget it, and come back to delicious food, fast and simple! It’s the best part of this instant pot keto recipe. The greatest part of this keto recipe is that you can change up the flavors if you’d love by adding more of the specific spices.

It is literally one of my favorites to make and a HUGE hit every time I make it. Pair it with some homemade low carb tortillas and some homemade salsa for your low carb diet.
