Instant Pot Chicken Noodle Soup (5 Minute Cooking Time)

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Alright, Chicken Noodle Soup just got 100 times easier! Cooking time is only 5 minutes so it is one of the fastest and easiest recipes you could possibly make in your Instant Pot!

If you have never tried making an Instant Pot recipe, I highly suggest making this one!

Yes, you can. The time can vary depending on how big your chicken pieces are but I would begin with 20-25 minutes if they are thicker breasts.

Cook just the chicken and the chicken broth. The last 5 minutes add the noodles, spices and the vegetables.

Yes Yes. Cook just the chicken and the broth together for 15-20 minutes. When there is 5 minutes left, do a fast release, and add the vegetables, spices and noodles. Cook on manual for 5 minutes.

If you are cooking for 1-2 people I would suggest the 3 Quart. If you are cooking for more, I would suggest the 6 quart!
