Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Hey guys! Today I am sharing another Instant Pot recipe. This Instant Pot Chicken Pot Pie Soup is a lighter take on the classic chicken pot pie and the perfect comfort food.

Instant Pot Chicken Pot Pie Soup
2 big boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cooked & cut into bite size pieces)
2 tbsp oil
1 onion, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
3 stalks celery, sliced
5 tsp minced garlic
1 lb. red potatoes, chopped
2 cans (14.5 oz) chicken broth
1 cup whole milk
1.5 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
1.5 tsp dried sage
salt & pepper to taste
fresh parsley for garnish
Turn Instant Pot on saute. Add oil to pot to heat up. Add onion, carrots and celery. Cook until onions are soft. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more. Add potatoes, chicken broth, sage, thyme and chicken. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. fast release. Stir in milk and season with salt and pepper to taste.
