Instant Pot Chicken Teriyaki

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

When folks go out for Japanese, they typically acquire one of two things: Sushi or Chicken Teriyaki. Or both in a Bento box .

And I acquire it – the chicken is so tender, the sauce is so sublime, you’ll want to use it to serve over rice (or slurp the sauce on its own).

So it was high time I used the Instant Pot to make the most authentic-tasting Chicken Teriyaki that will please absolutely everyone who loves this sweet and tender staple.
