You’ve probably heard of theInstant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
I’m back with another instant pot recipe. Today you will see a chili that was simplified by adding salsa for the flavor while dressing it up with stew meat instead of ground beef. This video is a little different since I made this chili when I had no voice, so I actually took a series of pictures and then voiced over them to say what I would have while making it.
Beef stew meat cut into soup size pieces
2 cups red/kidney beans
2 cups brown rice
1 big jar salsa
1 box beef broth or 4tbs Better Than Bouillon
2 cans chopped tomatoes
Water (only if needed, top off to bring level up to capacity)
*Weight Watchers- when I entered this and then divided it by the serving size we use for a single bowl (about 2 cups worth, just under) it came out to be 2 smart points under the new Freestyle program.
