These homemade mashed potatoes are rich and creamy, full of great flavor and simple to make. I have modified it a bit and added a mushroom sauce to make this vegetarian recipe for Mashed Potatoes.

Ingredients:

Mashed potatoes:
1 lb Yellow Potatoes (peeled and roughly chopped into pieces)
200 ml Whole milk, for vegan use plant based milk
50 ml Water
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Unsalted butter or Vegan butter

Sautéed Mushroom:
1 tbsp Oil
1 cup Onions
1 clove Minced Garlic
1/2 cup of Tomatoes OR 1 tbsp of Tomato paste
200 gram chopped mushroom
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp Pepper powder

Garnishing:
Fresh Dill
