Instant Pot Jasmine Rice
You’ve probably heard of the
Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
Perfect Jasmine Rice (made from the Instant Pot recipe book that came with the IP.)
3 *rice cups* of rice, well rinsed until water runs clear (the rice cup is 6oz, or 3/4 cup).
You need to put the rice in the pot first, then the water.
Water to the 3 cup mark in the Instant Pot liner (make sure to use the cups mark and not the litres mark!).
Set to Manual, 4 minutes.
Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.
Release remaining pressure and stir.
Serve!
