Instant Pot Lamb Stew

You’ve probably heard of the
Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
This Instant Pot lamb stew is a beautiful blend of sweet, delicious and citrus flavors. Pair it with a light salad and some crusty bread and you have an simple and impressive meal for any night of the week.
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 lbs lamb cubes
sea salt
pepper
1 cup chopped onion
2-3 cloves minced garlic
1 Tbsp ginger paste
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground coriander
1/4-1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp orange zest
8 dates
8 dried apricots
2 Tbsp slivered almonds
1/2-1 Tbsp honey optional
1 tsp ras el hanout
parsley or cilantro
almond slivers
