You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

For The Pork

100 grams lean pork (I used pork tenderloin, but you can also use ground pork)

1/2 Tbsp light soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

For The Congee

1 Cup  white rice soaked 2 hours

1 Tbsp grated garlic

1 Tbsp grated ginger

1tbsp chopped spring onion

1200ml Cup water or chicken broth (more if you prefer thinner consistency, less if you love it thicker)

1 preserved century egg *, peeled and rinsed (cut up into small pieces)

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp ground white pepper

2 green onions , chopped

cilantro , chopped

1 Tbsp sesame oil

fried onion
