You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Here I am with a delicious festival delicacy that is quite often made at my home with the fresh jaggery, milk and rice at my home. Every time my mom makes this, my home is filled with incredible aroma and her love. Our days divinity starts right from there.

Try this at your home following this little tip of adding a pinch of baking soda I order to avoid curdling of milk. Milk curdles when jaggery is added. Don’t know why but my mom tells me to add a pinch of it and it stays beautiful while cooking too.

Rice 1 cup
Jaggery 2 cups
Water 3 cups
Milk 2 cups preferably whole milk
Nuts as per your wish(I used cashews 1 tbsp & almond 1 tbsp)
Cardamom 1 optional
