INSTANT POT SALSA CHICKEN! delicious Recipe 4 Healthy RV Cooking {#182}

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

With only two ingredients, this is an incredibly simple recipe that ANYONE can make (slow cooker instructions included if you don’t have an Instant Pot!) and so versatile!! Adjust to your tastes by using ANY salsa from mild to extra hot, or go green and make salsa verde chicken! Our favorite is corn & black bean salsa, which we’ve used here. NOTE: We usually use Archer Farms brand – the one we used in this video ended up being QUITE a bit more spicy!
Once you’ve cooked this chicken, the options are endless – tacos, burritos, nachos, salad, omelettes, breakfast burritos – use it any way you love!
Only takes about 15-20 mins altogether in the Instant Pot (cooking time 8-10 mins) so it’s a perfect solution for busy nights – just two things to grab from the store and fast to make!
