This is any simple and fast method to cook white beans stew iraqi style . The authentic method would take a lot of time from soaking, cooking meat then cooking the stew. The result was very excellent. But remember you have to use a excellent quality stew meat preferably with bone so the result stew would taste excellent. Here in this video I used roast beef cut which was a little tough to cook. While a stew meat would cook in 30 minutes even if it is frozen love I show in the previous video( link below) Also the type of the white beans would effect the cooking time. Some beans are so tough. They may need more time to cook than others. So always remember cooking by instant pot even if you follow the recipe, there are many factors love the quality of the ingredients, the size of the cut , the size of the pot , the elevation of the location and finally the tenderness level of the food you preferer all these may effect the cooking time ! We serve this delicious stew with white rice!

The Ingredients:

3 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 to 1 kg cubed meat
Salt and pepper to your taste
2-3 tbsp. tomato paste
2 cups dry white beans washed well
4 cups boiled water – each cup of dry beans, 2 cup boiled water
A pinch of citric acid
1/4 teaspoon hot red pepper or as desired
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper or as desired
Instant pot size 6 qt
