Instant Pot Weeknight Chicken Thighs
You’ve probably heard of the
Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
2 pounds bone in – skin on chicken thighs
Olive Oil
Seasoned Salt
Black Pepper
Paprika
(or seasonings of your choice)
1/2 cup of beer of your choice (I used Coors Light)
(Or your liquid of choice, water or chicken stock
Instructions:
Remove the skin from the chicken thighs
Add a little bit of olive oil to chicken
and then season to your taste
Add beer to the pot and put in chicken
Cook using MANUAL setting for 10 minutes
Natural release for 3 minutes, then fast release
the remaining pressure
