Japanese Curry Beef Stew (Multi Cooker/Pressure Cooker)

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!


A yummy traditional Japanese stew recipe with the convenience of cooking in a multi-cooker. A flavorful yet mild brown curry sauce with tender chunks of meat, potatoes and carrots. Serve this dish with steamed white rice or soft egg noodles.

Ingredients: Serves 6-8 Prep time: 10 mins Cook time: 1 hour
1 ½ – 2lbs Beef stew meat
2-3 Carrots cut into rounds or small chunks.
1 Medium onion sliced
2 Medium russet or 2 Yukon Gold potatoes cut into bite size pieces.
3 Cups beef broth
3 Cloves minced garlic
1-2 tsps Grated ginger
