LEFTOVER Fried Chicken Rice | Viral Japanese Rice Cooker Hack

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

I recently saw this viral Japanese KFC rice cooker hack, and I decided to try it! It was absolutely delicious!
My homemade fried chicken recipe: https://youtu.be/WTxVjOAeu_U

I used:
4 few pieces of homemade fried chicken
6 cups of jasmine rice + 9 cups of water (usually, chicken stock is used)
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
2 teaspoons of chili powder
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
2 teaspoons of black pepper
2 tablespoons of sea salt
4 stalks of chive/scallion to garnish

*A drizzle of oil can also be added.

Enjoy!
