Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
make Ahead Mashed Potatoes
make ahead and reheat in your crockpot. When you reheat just add a little more butter and milk then heat on low in your crockpot during the meal. I usually add to the crockpot about 90 minutes before the meal and begin on high then turn down to low after 30 minutes.
