But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

– simple Instant Pot Mexican Rice & Beans with Chicken

Tonight’s dinner is simple to make! All you need is the following ingredients:

– Chicken Thighs or Chicken Breasts (Optional)
– Hot Pepper of choice (Jalapeno, Scotch Bonnet, Habenero etc.)
– Extra-virgin olive oil
– White Rice
– 1 Can of Kidney Beans or Black Beans (or both!)
– Onion, Tomatoes, Garlic, Corn
– Dried Chipolte Pepper & Paprika, Chili Flakes
– Fresh Cilantro & Sour Cream for Garnish
