Potato kurma in Instant Pot || Potato Curry || Recipe # 21

You’ve probably heard of the
Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
Potato Kurma in Instant Pot.
Potato Kurma Recipe:
First On the Saute Mode,
Add
Oil – 2 Tablespoons
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
chopped Onions – 2 ( Medium Size )
Green Chillies – 4 (slit)
Cashews – 1 Tablespoon
Saute Onions till they turn light brown
now add Ginger garlic Paste – 1 teaspoon
Add
Potatoes – 4 cut big cubes
Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Powder – 1 teaspoon
Cumin Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam Masala Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Chili Powder – 1 teaspoon
Salt
water – 1 cup ( or ) add enough water to boil the potatoes
Mix well.
Off the saute mode.
Close the lid and seal
Set Time :
Manual – 6 Minutes
Pressure : HIGH
Release – fast Release
When pressure is released open the lid and
ON the SAUTE mode again
Add milk – 1/2 cup
Cook for 2 minutes
Coriander Leaves
cancel the Saute mode after 2 minutes.
