Sambar is a delicious Indian vegetable lentil soup that is best served with rice and all types of tiffins.
Today i will show you how to make vegetable sambar/ vegetable lentil soup in instant pot pressure cooker. It is very simple and super tasty. This south Indian dish combination of different flavors and tastes so delicious.

Vegetable sambar recipe:
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1tsp
Fenugreek seeds- 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Dry curry leaves powder- 1 tsp
Red chilies- 3 to 4
Uradal – 1 tsp
Smashed garlic cloves- 4 to 5
Smashed ginger —- 1 tsp
Small onion sliced -1
Medium tomato- 1
Drum stick fresh- 4 to 5 pieces
Lady’S finger pieces- 1/4 cup
Small size bottle guard
Eggplant pieces- 1/4 cup
Medium size carrots-2
Tamarind pulp-1 cup
Toordal- 1 cup( soaked for 15 mins)
Sambar powder— 3 tsp
Water- 3 to 4 cups as per your consistency
Jaggery- small piece( for taste)
Ghee- 1 tsp
Corrainder leaves- small cup for garnishing.
Cooking tome….. pressure cook/ manual high.. 8 mins( natural pressure release)
