few apple slices optional
1 cup whole milk
4 eggs
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp maple syrup
salt to taste
1/3 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
