simple instant pot Baked Beans (Vegan, WFPB)

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Not only do I love spending time with friends at cookouts during the Summer, but I love making plant based cookout food! Whenever we host or are invited to a BBQ or cookout, we make sure to bring enough bean burgers and other plant based food to share. One classic cookout dish that we usually bring with us is baked beans. There are some vegan store bought options, but they are always filled with artificial ingredients and loads of processed sugar. So I decided that I would come up with a great whole food plant based option utilizing my simple instant pot pinto beans and my simple instant pot BBQ sauce. I made sure that these baked beans are extremely simple to make on the stove top or with your instant pot.
