simple instant pot BBQ Jackfruit (Vegan, Oil Free)



You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!


During the summer nothing goes on a bun quite love pulled BBQ Jackfruit! We love serving up this BBQ Jackfruit whenever we have a big group of guests over. Here’s the Ingredients!

-1 can of young green jackfruit (drained & rinsed)
-1/2 cup water (this was added due to so many having “burn” come on instant pot)

-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp onion powder
-1 tsp smoked paprika
-1 tsp black pepper
