You’ve probably heard of theInstant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
If you need an simple recipe to make in your Instant Pot, then this Crack Chicken is definitely for you!
I have to warn you though, once you begin eating it, you won’t be able to stop! It is made with only a few ingredients and takes just a few minutes to throw together. So it is a win win for everyone!
I had a lot of requests to make not only a Keto recipe, but to make Crack Chicken! So for all my Keto friends out there, here is my Crack Chicken.

6 slices cooked bacon
2 pounds boneless chicken breast (frozen or thawed)
1 packet ranch seasoning
8 oz cream cheese
chopped green onions
1 cup water
put chicken and 1 cup of water in the Instant Pot.
put on the lid and push MANUAL or PRESSURE COOK for 25 minutes if frozen and 20 if thawed. do a fast release when the timer is done.
Remove chicken and shred.
Keep your Instant Pot on low. Add chicken back in. Add ranch packet, cream cheese, green onions and bacon. Stir until everything is well combined.
This dish is usually served with 1 cup of cheddar cheese on top, I just didn’t add it this time!
Directions for slow cooker: put chicken cream cheese and ranch seasonings in crock pot cook on low for 6 hours. Remove chicken and shred. put back in the pot and stir in bacon and green onions and enjoy.

Just remember when using the Instant Pot, it takes 10-20 minutes to pressurize!

If you are cooking for 1-2 people I would suggest the 3 Quart. If you are cooking for more, I would suggest the 6 quart!
