simple Instant Pot Orange Chicken – Pressure Cooker Recipe



You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

I have been making simple Instant Pot recipes for years now, and I’ve slowly been making my normal recipes inside of the Instant Pot with trial and error.

When making this recipe, be sure to add your cornstarch AFTER your chicken as already cooked. Don’t pressurize the cornstarch because it will kill your recipe!

Just remember when using the Instant Pot, it takes 10-20 minutes to pressurize!

If you are cooking for 1-2 people I would suggest the 3 Quart. If you are cooking for more, I would suggest the 6 quart!
