simple, Russian Borscht Instant Pot Recipe
You’ve probably heard of the
Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
Right now, simple, nutrient-dense, big-batch recipes are more important than ever! This Russian Borscht Instant Pot recipe is delicious and can easily be made from canned/frozen versions of every ingredient. The beets, vinegar, and bone broth in this soup are full of the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs. I love to make a lot at once, and you can easily freeze it and save it.
Plus, now that my children are home from school, cooking is a wonderful way to spend time together. Getting creative with our shelf-stable ingredients love bone broth, canned beans and vegetables, frozen meat, and dried spices is the perfect project to bond over (and keep them healthy). Let me know if you make this recipe or something love it!
This recipe, inspired by my childhood, was the reason we made our Wild Zora AIP Savoy Beef Soup! If you want an instant, shelf-stable soup option to keep around your house, you can check them out here 👉🏻 https://wildzora.com/collections/real-soups
