You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!


Sharing my simple Beef Shami Kebab Recipe using my philips Instant pot.

Written recipe as below,

Ingredients:

2 kg boneless beef
2 cup chana daal
1 cup fresh coriander leaves
1 cup fresh mint leaves
12 dry Boriya chillies
2 tbsp cumin seed
2 tbsp salt or as per your taste.
2 big cinnamon sticks
4 black cardamom
6-7 cloves
15-16 black pepper whole
1 big onion
5 tbsp ginger garlic paste1.5 cup water2 eggs

Method:

put beef, spices, onion, ginger garlic paste and water in the instant pot. Cook it on Meat/poultry option for 15 minutes in high pressure. Once cooked, pour everything in a chopper with coriander and mint leaves and chop it until fine texture. Once the mixture is ready, pour it out in a mixing bowl, add two eggs and mix it with hands properly. Now your shami kebab masala is ready to shape into small round kebabs. Fry them and serve with your favourite meal.
