The BEST Instant Pot Sticky Chicken
You’ve probably heard of the
Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

If you are new to the Instant Pot, this recipe is PERFECT for you! Or even if you have been using the Instant pot for awhile, this is a perfect one if you are in a hurry! The best part about this Sticky Chicken is that it is done in a matter of 30 minutes or less! (that includes waiting for the Instant Pot to pressurize!)

Just remember when using the Instant Pot, it takes 10-20 minutes to pressurize!

Instant Pot Sticky Chicken Recipe:
1 1/2 to 2 pounds frozen popcorn chicken
6 Tablespoons honey
4 Tablespoons ketchup
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons white distilled vinegar
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
Green onions
Sesame seeds
Push Sauté on the Instant Pot!
Mix together honey, ketchup, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and salt and pepper. Bring sauce to a boil while stirring and simmer for a few minutes until sauce slightly thickens.
Add 1/2 cup of water and stir
Pour in your frozen popcorn chicken. Toss the chicken in the sauce.
put your lid on and put the knob on sealing! (not venting! – sorry about that!)
Turn your instant pot off, then turn in on and push manual. Cook for 7 minutes.
do a fast release and serve hot over rice.
Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
