But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Today I’m sharing with you the 6 easiest things to cook in your Instant Pot! Now these are perfect if you are just starting out, or even if you have had an Instant Pot for awhile, but want to try some new things!

If you are looking for very BASIC recipes, then this is just for you! I love these basic recipes because you can cook for 1 person or for your whole family!

Tips for each Instant Pot Recipe:

Instant Pot Corn:
Push the off button when you are done cooking the corn. They can sit in the hot water while you acquire the rest of dinner ready, but you don’t want them to cook any more, just to be kept warm.

You can cook them for 3 minutes if you want soft boiled eggs!

If you are cooking for 1-2 people I would suggest the 3 Quart. If you are cooking for more, I would suggest the 6 quart!
