But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.
Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!
A rich, hearty, full of protein vegan green lentil soup 🥣 that I love, and I know you will too.
◦ 170 gr green lentils soaked overnight
◦ 1 chopped potato 🥔
◦ 2 chopped carrots 🥕
◦ Half of a broccoli head🥦
◦ 1 chopped onion🧅
◦ 3 garlic cloves 🧄
◦ 1 piece of ginger
◦ 1 chili pepper 🌶️
◦ 2 tbsp tomato 🍅 paste
◦ 1 vegetable stock cube
◦ Smoked paprika
◦ 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
◦ 1/3 tsp cinnamon
Set the pot to saute, add the sunflower oil, onion, garlic, chili pepper and ginger and cook until soften, stirring frequently.
Add the spices and stir adding a bit of water to deglaze the pot.
Add in the lentils and potato, cover with water and throw in tomato pasteand vegetable stock cube and cook on the Beans/Chili setting for 15 minutes.
fast release the pressure and add in the carrots and broccoli and cook for another 12 minutes on the Soup setting.
Release the pressure and serve 🍽️ with lemon juice 🍋.
Add in the sunflower oil, onion, garlic, chili pepper and ginger to a big pot and cook over medium heat until the vegetables begin to soften.
Add the spices and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
Add the lentils and potato, pour in water, tomato paste and the stock cube and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add the carrots and broccoli and let it simmer for another 15 minutes.
Before serving, stir in lemon juice 🍋.
