Vegan Lava Cake Recipe | Molten Chocolate Cake (Gluten-Free)

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Dry ingredients:

1 slightly heaped cup (100 g) oats (ground into flour) gluten-free if needed
7 tbsp finely (50 g) ground almonds
5 1/2 tbsp (70 g) brown sugar or coconut sugar
3 tbsp (20 g) cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt

Wet Ingredients:
2/3 cup (160 ml) plant-based milk
One small (80 g) banana
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract

1.5 oz (40 g) dairy-free chocolate of choice
